SNMP

SNMP is an acronym for Simple Network Management Protocol, part of the TCP/IP protocol suite, it is used to manage and monitor network and network attached devices.

Protocol/Port: TCP and/or UDP 161 and 162

161 Is used for Network Management System (NMS) initiated connections to managed devices (i.e. issuing GETs)

162 Is used for managed device initiated connections to NMSs (i.e. sending traps)
