SCF Files

From RZWiki

F5-logo-large.png

Used with F5 Networks BigIP platforms, Single Configuration Files (SCFs) are flat text files containing both the LTM and management interface configuration. These files can be used as a configuration backup mechanism for a particular device or used to replicate device configuration to multiple devices (with minor modifications.)

Single Configuration Files (SCF) are located here by default: /var/local/scf/

The bigpipe import and bigpipe export commands are used to save and restore SCF files.

To backup a device's LTM configuration and a great number of Linux operating system configuration and other files use User Configuration Set (UCS) files instead of SCF files.
